2018 Featured Kids

If you don’t have a personal connection to childhood cancer, we encourage you to pick one of the featured kids or adults and eat “for” them. Childhood cancer is deeply personal to those who it has touched and we want our awareness to be deeply personal too. Yes, “kids” get cancer, but more specifically… these kids.

Meet the featured kids and adults for February 18, 2018’s Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day: Laney, Audrey, Dylan, Bella, and Kaitlyn.

By eating #icecreamforbreakfast, I honor all children who have fought or who are fighting a battle with cancer, because #kidsgetcancertoo. Join me on Feb 18. Who are YOU eating for?

Behind Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is a sister team, run by love for Malia Grace Peterson. Annette Peterson is a wife, mom to three beautiful girls (including Malia), a nurse, an active member of her church, and a chatty introvert who lights up every room she is in. Alisa Matheson a mom, an independent contractor, photographer, and a city-loving girl, who enjoys true crime documentaries, reality TV, and staying home. She was also an aunt/partner in crime to Malia, hosting sleepovers, marshmallow fights, and generally causing a ruckus.
