Audrey is Celebrating

On February 18th, eat a scoop to celebrate #remission with Audrey, because kids get cancer too. @eaticecreamday #embryonalrhabdomyosarcoma #family

Audrey is a competitive dancer and is a huge personality in a tiny body. Her dance family is a huge source of support for her whole family and many of them participate in Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast day and post their pictures to help spread awareness to their friends and family.  Audrey lives with her Mom, Dad and her older brother, Easton.  They enjoy cross country skiing together in the winter and doing day trips to the lake in the summer.

Audrey

Audrey was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma when she was 3.  She is now an 8 year old survivor.  Audrey spent almost 10 months away from home (a 10-12 hour drive away) during her chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  Her family are passionate advocates for childhood cancer awareness and often share Audrey’s story to help others understand the importance of research to help give kids long term quality of life.
