I will eat a scoop to celebrate #remission with Josiah on February 18, because #kidsgetcancertoo. @eaticecreamday #wilms #wilmstumor #stage4Tweet
Josiah has a great sense of humor & loves to play with puns. He sings all the time around the house, but is learning how to sing in front of people. He’ll talk your ear off about Mario and Skylanders. And his family LOVEs having ice cream for breakfast!
Josiah has a 12 yr old brother (Luca), an 8 yr old sister (Anastasia) and a 9 month old brother (Malachi). We homeschool, love to watch movies and have adventures outside together.
Josiah was diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old with Stage IV Wilms Tumor in Dec. ’08 with metastases to the lungs. He went through treatments until June ’09. He was NED until July ’10 when a spot in his lungs began to grow again. Thankfully, they removed that nodule and he has had no evidence of disease (NED) now for 6 1/2 years!
