Charlee is now a bubbly 8yr old who loves a chat, her tap dancing, crafts and her friends.
At two, Charlee was the cutest mums girl. Loved cuddles from her dad, big brother and everyone who loved her. She enjoyed playing in the park with her brother, cousins and friends. Dress ups and muddy puddles were always fun too. We had a normal happy life. We enjoy spending time with family and friends camping and exploring in our home town. Charlee older brother was a dotting big brother who loves cuddles with his baby sister.

Then, when she was first diagnosed at the age of 2, it was an absolute shock. We went from having a normal happy little family to having to move to the city to be closer to the hospital. This effected our whole family Charlee’s brother had to change school, her dad and my employment changed, we moved away from family and friends and our family home. Lucky Charlee’s aunt lived closer to the hospital with her family so we rented a house close by. It was an absolute life saver have family there to support us all.
Over the last 5 years Charlee has had many surgeries and treatments. She continues to have hospital days, treatments and therapies 3 times a week. We are so grateful for our family, Friends and the new friends that have accepted and embraced us and our beautiful girl.
